Atombeam Named to the Top 50 in the QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge

Atombeam's Neurpac AI-driven data compression and edge-optimized data intelligence platform earned a Top 50 spot in the QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge, recognizing its ability to shrink data 75% and boost bandwidth 4x for secure, low-latency smart city applications like IoT sensor networks, real-time traffic analytics, and renewable energy management.

It is with genuine excitement that we report that Atombeam was named to the top 50 in the QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge. A sixth-month long global accelerator, the challenge created by the exceptional nonprofit Leading Cities and sponsored by the QBE Foundation, strives to make cities more resilient and sustainable. 

This year’s challenge attracted submissions from more than 950 applicants in 77 countries – all eager to vie not just for the opportunity to win $175,000 in equity-free funding, but also an opportunity to pilot their solution. And that is really just the beginning of the many benefits of participating in the Resilience Challenge, among them the opportunity to earn Leading Cities’ Public Private Partnership Readiness Program certification and to exchange insights with municipal leaders and technologists intent to solve some of the most pressing challenges facing urban areas.

Among the applicants this year are some of the world’s most impressive technology companies. Their collective offerings represent an incredibly diverse array of solutions to solve municipalities' smart city and sustainability goals, and to enable residents to enjoy a better quality of life. 

Being named to the Top 50 of such an impressive cohort of innovators is an exceptional honor. It is also a noteworthy validation of our Neurpac solution’s value and applicability to a wide array of use cases that depend on the ability to move and use data quickly, effectively and securely on what are often bandwidth-constrained networks. 

Whether a city is considering the use of smart meters, the more effective management of renewable energy sources, real-time traffic control, or novel approaches to decreasing carbon emissions, Neurpac can help by making data 75% smaller and inherently more secure while simultaneously increasing available bandwidth by 4x or more.
